Roasted lamb


Preheat the oven to 190°C In a large bowl mix the Saclà Olive & Tomato pasta sauce, the fresh mint , the white wine, black pepper and orange zest. Put half of the mix in a different bowl and add a teaspoon of brown sugar, rub over the steaks. Wrap loosely in foil to let air circulate, seal well and put on a roasting tray. Cook for 20 min then open the foil and cook for extra 2 min. If you like it well done give it a little extra time in foil. Serve with the olive, tomato and mint sauce.


  • 4 steaks of lamb 125g each
  • 1 jar Saclà Olive & Tomato pasta sauce 190g
  • 3 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 75 ml white wine
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 2 spoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
